The privacy and security of our customers personal information is of the highest priority to Gametraders. Our commitment is to respect your right to privacy and to protect your personal information.
Gametraders is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act of 1988 (Commonwealth) and any relevant privacy principles under state legislation. Our staff are trained to respect all our customer’s privacy.
Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and manage the personal information of customers who give us these details when signing up for either our Gcard (member card) or sign up on our website to become an online Gametraders Customer. Our privacy policy applies to all our customers who deal with us either in person or online or by phone.

Collecting Personal Information
Gametraders only collects personal information for the purpose of monitoring customer sales history so that customers can be sent details of special offers and discounts.
Your personal information is collected with your permission when you either sign up as a customer on www.gametraders.com.au or when you sign up as a Gcard member in store. This information is private and will only be used with your permission to let you know about special offers including sales, discounts and other events both online and in store.
Gametraders will not disclose your personal information to any external party or individual under and circumstances unless required by Federal or State laws where applicable. Your personal details are stored on our secure servers with encrypted password protection.
Occasionally Gametraders may include sponsorship or event information in our Gcard (member card) mail outs - these events may have 3rd party information but your personal details are not given to any 3rd party ever.
Ethical marketing
Gametraders asks customers permission to send information out such as GCard updates and event information. On occasion Gametraders will contact customers to ensure your details are up to date and to confirm you wish to continue receiving communications from Gametraders. You can gain access to your personal information held by Gametraders subject to exceptions by the Federal or State Governments of Australia. Factors affecting your right to information include:

* Access would be unlawful.
* Access would effect legal disputes with Gametraders.
* Or that access could relate to commercially sensitive decisions.

Exchange and Refund Policy
Gametraders offers all customers the ability to return a game should a game not work as advertised. Customers need to be advised that games with online activation are exempt if they have been activated. Customers buying PC games in particular must know the game's technical requirements to ensure their computer system will run the game to a satisfactory performance level as detailed in the minimum requirements on the game packaging detailed by the game publisher/distributor/developer.
Games will be offered full refund or exchange if they do not work due to the game being faulty when sold.
Games will be offered full refund or exchange if they were purchased in error and have not been opened or played within 14 days of purchase.
Any returns for refund or exchange must be in what Gametraders deems to be saleable condition including box packaging, manual and any included materials that were included in the original packaging; within 14 days of purchase.
All returns must be approved by Gametraders prior to the game being returned.
Gametraders reserves the right to refuse refund or exchange if the item is not in good saleable condition.
Delivery Policy
Gametraders ships product to customers using Australia Post, Star Track Express or Express Post.
Delivery of orders is determined by customers’ location and method used. Full shipping costs can be found on our Shipping Costs page and pricing will change in accordance with any price increases by delivery companies.
Approximate delivery times are (dependant on delivery method chosen):
Metropolitan area: 1-7 business days.
Regional areas: 2-7 business days.

Gametraders cannot be held responsible for delays due to industrial action, natural disaster or commercial situations that may delay delivery.
Missing orders
A parcel is deemed missing when after 21 days it has not arrived.
When a customer advises of an order not received, Gametraders will undertake an investigation to ascertain why a delivery has gone missing. This may take up to 30 days and the customer will be emailed at the commencement of the investigation and during the investigation to be advised on the progress.
If deemed to be lost in transit a replacement or full refund will be issued to the customer.
Return Policy
Gametraders will accept returns from customers should the game be found to be faulty. Games must be returned in saleable condition and with all packaging and inclusions that came with the game at new purchase point; within 14 days of purchase.
Games that have been activated using online activation cannot be returned. Customers are advised on product information as to system requirements as detailed by the game developer/publisher.
Games which have been mistreated and subsequently no longer function cannot be returned.

Postage for returns due to faulty product will be covered by Gametraders and full details will be advised on registration of a return lodgment.
